I work with hundreds of children every single week. The past several years, I have worked with children in grades K-3, but the 3 years prior, worked with 7-12th graders. Imagine working with HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of teenagers every single day!!

I think spanking is a personal choice. I can tell you from my own personal experience, being an ex police dispatcher and working in a school district, the lack of respect by most children today is disturbing, appalling and still shocks me to this day!

I suppose a lack of respect and defiance by a child to their own parent is one thing, but when other children have no respect for educators, other parents and even police officers, it is beyond my comprehension!

I dont know why children are like this now, I know had I ever spoken to an adult in that manner when I was young, I would not be here to speak about it today.

But it seems back in the "day", the old ruler sure seemed to do the trick!!
